Dr. Jose L. Hueso
University of Zaragoza
Dr. José L. Hueso earned a PhD in Chemistry (2007) from the University of Seville (Spain) in the field of plasma-catalytic hybrid reactors. After postdoctoral work at the Universidad Complutense of Madrid (Spain) and the University of Texas at Austin (USA) working with mesoporous and nanostructured materials, he joined the Nanostructured Films and Particles group headed by Prof. J. Santamaria at the Institute of Nanoscience of Aragon-University of Zaragoza (Spain). Among others, Dr. Hueso has been awarded with a Postdoctoral Research Fellowship from Fundacion Alfonso Martin Escudero, a Juan de la Cierva Junior Fellowship from the Spanish Government and a Marie Curie Reintegration Grant from the European Union (People Program). His current research interests are mainly related with the synthesis of multifunctional materials for imaging, sensing and catalytic applications.
